Moments of sunshine

Yes, here in Michigan we get "moments" of sunshine in between the snow, sleet and rain.  Jillian and I played on the deck for a little while for the first time in months.  It was so cute to see how happy this made her.  She was crawling all over, just a giggling like crazy!  I also needed to get my settings straight for a wedding on Saturday (which might not happen, more on that soon) with this bright white sky as my backdrop.  I love the way these turned out, pure and simple. 

 

Don't worry, she'll grow into the hat :)

Amy Johnson

I came across another amazing photographer recently, Amy Johnson.   And she's right here in Michigan over on the west side of the state.  I actually replied to an ad she had posted on one of my photography boards, looking for a second shooter for a couple weddings this May.  So, I sent her my info and asked her to look over my work.  She got back to me immediately and said that she'd had many replies, but thought I'd be perfect for the job!  So that's it.  I'll be shooting TWO wedding with Amy this May over in Holland.  I  am thrilled to get to work along side an experienced, and talented photographer like Amy.  Check out her work here.

Just Jillian

With my website launch behind me, it's back to doing what I love to do - stalking my Jillian.  Yes, I've been known on ocassion to greet her in the morning with camera in hand!  Is that horrible?  I just can't help myself, I hear her in there being all cute, and I love her little puffy eye just woke up and my hair is really messy look.  In fact, it's my favorite.  I never want to forget her little moments and quirks, and now I have them forever.  So after a few morning kisses and cuddles, it snap, snap, snap.  Just a few.

She luuurves her burp cloths lately.  Almost as much as Pooh and daddy.  Almost.
